Time

It hurts that you can’t go back

It heals

It’s beyond our understanding

It’s real

It means everything and nothing at all

What if I knew it all

What if I could see, would I look?

If I could go back

Would I live it again.

Why do we care

If eventually it’ll be gone

And to know that God is above it all

How different the world must be to Him

And to imagine that one day we too
will soar above.
